Iron memorial fund

in honour of those that gave their lives

The total cost to design, erect, unveil and maintain the memorial is €12000.00. This sum also includes a small sum to erect a headstone for the grave of M. Chalandre which has lain unmarked in Guise cemetery for about 90 years. The committee feel this brave man deserves a much overdue recognition for his deeds.

The Iron Memorial Fund was initiated in November 2009 with initial contributions from committee members and associates. The fund total on 2 November 2010 was 6,090.00.
